It is a film by Arun Gopalan produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films. Verma, the authors, have made an amazing effort to come up with an exciting and a reflective script.

I always wonder: how are movies created. In July 2022, Tehran began shooting in Iran. They also filmed in Glasgow which resembles Tehran a great deal. How cool is that? The crew took a period of three months to shoot at various different locations, which is quite rapid considering the size of the movie.
Amongst the fun behind the scene shots that John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar posted on social media during the shooting. It seemed to be work but fun as well. Ievgen Gubrebko does a wonderful job of cinematography--all scenes would seem to be paintings. The tension and the emotion of the film is another contribution of the music written by Tanishk Bagchi and Dhruv Ghanekar. One of the songs is known as Ishq Bukhaar which is already in my head!

Tehran has received positive reviews largely since its release. Critics and the audience are hailing it because of its realistic plot and powerful performances. India Today, as an example, rated it 4 out of 5 stars by Tushar Joshi. According to him it sensitively described common people caught in the war between the two sides.
I totally agree! Another critic, Ronak Kotecha of The Times of India rated it 3.5 of 5. He has termed it as a worthwhile watch to geopolitical thriller readers. It was a bit slow sometimes but it has been more than made up by the gripping storyline in the minds of most people.
