AMID THE PANDEMIC, NETFLIX SUBSCRIBERS INCREASING OR DECREASING Netflix is growing amid the pandemic and now has secured 200 million subscribers. Netflix shares showed a marked increase of more than 12% in after-market trades following the release. Netflix added 8.5 million paid subscribers to get up to a mark of 203million. Netflix has invested a lot in films and shows to make a mark for itself in this increasingly high competitive streaming market. Netflix recently tapped subscriber growth expectations in the past few months. Now Netflix is ahead of new streaming rivals. Netflix added 8.5 million paid subscribers in the past few months to reach 203 million despite price hikes. Netflix made a record of 36 million subscribers in 2020 but in 2021, Netflix saw its subscriber growth slow, very slow, in the first 6 months of 2021. Netflix added 5.5 million subscribers in the first 6 months of 2021 as compared to more than 25 million during 2020 in the same period. Netflix has shown a dramatic slowdown in subscribers in the first three months of 2021. There has been no growth during the coronavirus pandemic.

We see tragedy in the pain of Emily’s struggle of being a widow. She had to grapple with the adversities of life. So, hence it proves that Gilmore girls is a tragedy. The women mourned Richard’s death and that was tragedy.
  • UNCORKED: A COMING-OF-AGE TALE
It is a drama film. Writer and director is prentice penny. The cast includes mamouduo athie, Courtney b. vance. It is not about whites. This is a wine movie. The direction is quirky. The script is amazing. This is not a film that tries to oppose racism on the face of it. It is a beautiful portrait of a family who strived to keep the family legacy alive against adversities for generations. Now there is a dilemma for the future generations also that if they wish to do what family wants or follow your own path. Hence it is a coming-of-age tale. If you read the plot of ‘uncorked’, you will learn that it is about an aspiring sommelier. The story is simple, honest and tells about the journey of Elijah, who dreams of becoming a sommelier but could not because of his father’s challenges. It is a story of dreams, hopes and aspirations and also a story of passion. Whenever we see a story of a rebellious child who wants to do something different and out of the box, it ends up in something weird. But for Elijah, he builds his own life and walks alone and proves to be an exception. Elijah’s dream is to fulfill the dreams of his father and carry the family legacy. He has to balance his struggles with love life. One of the key features of the series is its setting. It explores father-son relationship in a very subtle way. It is very refreshing.

Harry potter star imelda Staunton is the new queen for The Crown. Staunton is the latest star to play the role of queen on the show, previously this role was played by Claire foy , for season 1 and 2 and Olivia cohman for season 3 and 4. She will be accompanied by jonathan pryce who will take on the role of her husband, the late prince phillip lesley manville will play the role of her sister princess margaret which previously played by vanessa kirby (for first 2 seasons) and then by helena bonham carter. Elizabeth debicki will take on the role of new and older diana, princess of wales.

A los angeles man has surrendered to FBI after he allegedly made $ 14 million in a scam for a netflix series involving famous hollywood figures. Adam joiner, 41, allegedly used fake documents and people’s signatures to raise millions of dollars for a series called legends. The plan began in 2015 when joiner met a director of a korean investment firm and gave him a script of legends. He said that it was written by his brother. Joiner is convicted of falsely telling the firm that netflix has agreed to make the film because he wanted to gain money from the investment firm. Consequently, the investment firm agreed to invest $ 8 million in the project and transferred half the money in April 2016 to dark planet pictures, joiner’s production co. He did the same thing with a Chinese co. making $ 6 million in june 2016, a report came. After making 10 million dollar he said that famous hollywood celebrities like don murphy are in the legends series. He made a new deal with amblin partners – all of which was fake, according to executors at netflix and amblin. When joiner’s investors began to question him, he gave them excuses. He now has charges including fraud, money laundring and identity theft. If found guilty, he would be sentenced to 32 years in prison.
