Millie Bobby Brown directs the medieval action romance “Maiden,” coming to Netflix March 8. And an upcoming Korean series called “Chicken Nugget” (premiering March 15), in which a woman gets into a time machine and turns out to be a fast food vendor. basic, has already caused a stir on social media.

Reality TV fans should mark their calendars for March 22, as that's the day Season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills airs. Of course, the first half, which revolves around Mauricio Umansky's lucrative real estate drama, "The Agency," provided plenty of entertainment through the nepo-baby theatrics of his daughters Farrah, Alexia and Sophia. But an animated preview of the new episodes reveals that Umansky's split from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards won't have a huge impact on her long-running Bravo series, but rather on her Netflix project. Get the popcorn ready now.

Coming to Netflix in March:

Spaceman

In the next chapter of Sandler's increasingly entertaining Netflix offering, out March 1, Sandler plays Jakub, a Czech astronaut who becomes increasingly aware of all things earthly and that they may not await him upon his return. From the universe. It also includes his wedding to Lenka, played by Carey Mulligan, along with Paul Dano, Kunal Nayaar, Lena Olin and Isabella Rosselini. Based on the 2017 novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař, the themes of loss and isolation resonated not only with the titular astronaut, but also with the actor who plays him. “I think that happens naturally when you just say, 'Man, I miss home,'” Sandler told Vanity Fair. “If you go around making films you become a happy person. It's a lot of fun, but staying away... it hurts. It hurts to wake up without your family."

Girls5eva Season 3

Just when Girls5eva thought she had sung her swansong after two At Peacock, Netflix stepped in to save it from cancellation. The dynamic quartet (the fifth member, played in flashbacks by Ashley Park, died under mysterious circumstances) is brought back to life by Sara Bareilles, Paula Pell, Busy Philipps and Renée Elise Goldsberry. And if you want to stay informed, you will be able to stream the first two seasons of the series, as well as the third, on March 14.

Irish Wish

Nearly two years ago, Lohan's return to the big screen with "Falling for Christmas," a classic yet heartwarming holiday romantic comedy, became a certified hit for the streamer. Now she returns to the romantic comedy genre for another story with seasonal nuances, this time it's about Maddie, a book editor who travels to Ireland to attend her best friend's wedding to the man of her dreams. Of course, an ancient Earth stone could give her everything she's ever wanted or make her question what she wanted in the first place.

Shirley

In 2019, Vanity Fair interviewed Regina King about her project dream TRUE. She responded with a biopic about Shirley Chisholm, the first black congresswoman to lead a historic U.S. presidential bid in 1972. “It's hard because now Viola Davis is doing it,” King said at the time. “It's something I've been working on for a long time. "I'm still not giving up." It appears that the Davis project failed (although Uzo Aduba won an Emmy in 2020 for playing Chisholm in the Hulu series “Mrs. America”), which considered King the political icon par excellence. The film, directed by Oscar-winning “12 Years a Slave” screenwriter John Ridley, will be released on March 22.
